If your OPT expires at the Beginning of August next year, then you don't have to go back to China or do anything. There is a 60 days grace period after your OPT expiration, which means if you get the H1B by that time, you don't have to leave USA and just start to work from Oct. 1st.
The only bad thing is that you will nto be able to work during those 60 days.

问题当你明年8月份回去签的时候,那个时候的H1B也早就用完了

我今年已經是第一批file上了只不過因爲現在人數太多而且因爲我master要6月份畢業所以現在還不算在advanced degree holder裏面要跟人傢bachelor一起lottery,所以命中率不確定

楼主的意思是说,她如果今年不幸没被抽中,明年4/1再递申请终于被抽中,H1B明年10月生效...
楼主中间的GAP可以申请B2签证,也可以回国休假,拿到H1B再签
传说中H1B很好签的
