My flight arrives at 1:35p on a Monday and I don't live in Beijing. I only have about a week in China, just for the purpose getting this H1B. So I want to schedule the visa appointment as early as possible and fly to my hometown on the same day.
If my flight is ontime (1:35p), I'll be able to get to the embassy by 3p for the 3:30p interview, yes?
Will I be able to check my carry-on bag at the embassy? They have lockers, yes?

用不着这么赶吧，万一你飞机晚点什么的，到时候不是白费劲了！！！再说从机场到领馆的路上，堵车呢？

肯定赶不上。如果赶不上你不就傻了吗，现场约第二天是不可能的。 如果飞机可以直接把你投放在使馆区，应该还有点机会.不过要自带降落伞，因为客机上好像不提供

下午可以约到的，我就下午签过H１B，下午３点半的，５点多才签出来。
建议你还是约第二天早上的吧，上午早些签完了，还可以安排别的事情。
