OPT pending期间回国返签经历 （上海）

五月phd毕业，有工作offer，8月上半，opt 状态initial review，F1签证过期2个多月，7月回国中信代签。应该是opt期间回国最糟的情况了，最后顺利拿到签证，一些经验给大家分享。

最初打算opt期间回国，到版面上查了签经，多数人都恐惧opt期间回国签证，没签过的人也强烈建议不回去签，但是发现凡是回国签了的，没有一个没拿到的，所以并不担心。

最后要说明一点是，现在网上填写DS-160，照片是上传的，面签不需要带额外打印的照片，但是中信代签需要一张50x50的千万要带上，否则楼下拍照就是50元，另外交的这张照片只要是6个月内的就可以，不需要和ds-160上传的那张一样。

最后周一交的材料，周五拿到签证（家住上海），下面附上给VO写的cover letter，包括了准备的所有材料。祝大家签证顺利！

I am here to apply for F1 visa to reenter US on July 28, 2010. I have got my Ph.D. degree in XXX from the University of XXX in May 2010 and I am applying for the student employment authorization. The receipt from USCIS of OPT application is enclosed and the current status of the application as of July 11, 2010 is under initial review. I have also enclosed an email offer letter from XXX Inc., where I will be employed as a XXX on XXX. I am expected to report my first day at XXX on August 2, 2010. The purpose of this trip back to China is to visit my parents before going to work.
