最好买往返票．好象如果你买日本航空 全日空航空，Ｂ１ Ｂ２的必须买往返票．不然不让入境． 其他航空没听说必须买往返票

Thanks for the reply. We plan buy Northwest or UA. They may stay more than one year. Anybody had experience to buy return ticket when they were refused to enter USA?

if you want them to get visa easier next time, do not ask them to stay more than 6 month

it has no problem to enter the custom for my in-laws with 1 way ticket. and it is cheaper to buy 1 way comparing to round trip with 1 year open.
