If you will have visa interview in Beijing, they ask for employment letter and resume only; every time I also took a work plan with me, they never asked for it; however, on their website, it is recommended. They also recommend you get a copy of I129 from your attorney but never asked for it.
Thanks for your kind reply. I will interview in Beijing. It's just not really very practical or realistic to write such a work plan as a non-research employee. But will still try to come up with something before I leave the U.S.
