Me: I work for cash management team of the XXX bank. We manage $$$ assets for clients, help them invest in low risk financial assets such as MBS which I do the risk management for.
VO: low risk? what kind?
Me: Mortgage Backed Securities, Asset backed securities, specifically there can be treasury bonds of United States
VO: MBS? Isn't that what caused financial crisis?
Me: Yes 2008 but...
VO: the bad ones?
Me: Yes those are the bad quality ones...
VO: How do you tell the quality? But they are already AAA?
Me: Yes but after 2008, Federal reserve, SEC and OCC enhanced regulatory requirements of all the banks. My job is part of it, taking better care of the risk management of the complex financial assets
