My interview was scheduled at 10:30am. I was allowed to go in around 11:15am.

The visa officer was a woman. Here's the interview conversation.

Officer: Ni hao.
Me: Good morning.
Officer: Good morning. Where do you work?
Me: xxx
Officer: It sounds an important job.
Me: It's a think tank.
Officer: When did you take the photo?
Me: Last month. I had a new hair cut.
Officer: It's cute. I like it.
Me: Thank you.
Officer: I noticed that you had a problem with your previous work visa. Later you returned to China and got a new visa.
Me: Yes.
Officer: Can I see your old passport?
Me: Sure.
Officer: You have been approved. Take this to the post office. Have a great day!

It was 11:45 when I came out of the post office.
