Hi,
I just want to share my mum's visa experience with you. She applied for B2 visa three times from 2005 to 2007. In 2007,she got her 3 month/1 time entry B2 visa and stayed in US for about 6 months. In May,2008, she applied for B2 again but got rejected. She got her visa again on 01/08/09 again in Guangzhou, same place, different visa officer. She was asked for few simple questions, even not been asked for providing any documents except for 156/157/158 forms. That's all. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing with us. Could you tell when did you mom stay in the U.S.?

My parents in law also got their 3months/1 entry visa in 2007. They arrived in the U.S. on July 5, 07. My father in law stayed for half a year and my mother in law stayed for a year. They applied for B2 again in Guangzhou on Jan 9, 09 and were denied.

I think the reason might be because my mother in law stayed too long in the U.S. That is why I wanted to ask when your mom stayed in the U.S. during 2007. I was told that the applicant should stay in China longer than her/his last stay in the U.S. before applying B2 again. I just want to see if this is true.

Could you tell me what is 158 form? Why did your mom need it for the visa application?
