H1b首签

上海H和L签证有一个单列的小队，一开始还窃喜不用排大队，但是没想到前面有两对couple大概加起来就面了快一小时。
站到腰酸脚痛终于轮到自己，递给VO护照、DS160和i797原件，VO要offer letter/employment verification。因为H1是同一职位contractor转H1，十月生效，所以同时递给VO了就职位的verification和为新的permanent position申H1的statement。
VO：How long have you worked for...?
我：3 years as intern and then contractor. Will start as a permanent employee this October.
VO: Were you on H1 during the past 3 years?
我：No. I was on F1 CPT.
VO: what is CPT? Do you mean OPT?
我：I used both OPT and CPT to work for...
VO: what is your position? Can you briefly describe what do you do?
我：................
VO: how much do you earn?
我：................
VO: How about your degrees?
我：I have a Master's degree from ... And I'm an MBA candidate at ...
VO: when will you graduate?
我：This December.
VO: (typing...) Do you have this brochure (美国务院保护外国劳工的小册子）
我：Yes.
VO: OK. your visa is approved. Have a nice day!
