I made my interview reservation 6 weeks ago. I came to Montreal for a business trip. I went to interview on Mar 25, 2009. I was interview by two VOs.

Checked on 11/2/06, called consulate serveral times during the first 3 weeks without getting responses. My company has a local R&D department in Montreal, and I managed to get an office. Found contact number of the visa services in Washington DC from this link http://www.iflychina.net/node/1218 on Week 4, and started to call them daily. Was told on Friday, Dec. 1 to call back in a week, but on Monday Dec.4 received an email from the consulate informing visa pick-up on Tuesday Dec. 5.

Checked on Nov 2, called DC the case was pending as Nov 30.
