i see one person mentioned that he/she made an appointment for visa application on 4/30, which is a Sunday. i'm going back on April 28th and i was thinking i could only apply for visa after the 5.1 vacations. can anyone verify this?

美国驻北京大使馆签证处的正常工作时间为每周一至五早8点至下午5点，周六及周日对外关闭。鉴于中国本地假日安排，签证处将于5月1日—5日对外关闭。在此期间，签证处将无法提供任何与签证有关的服务，包括回答美国公民提出的签证问题。我们将从5月8日开始重新对外开放。
