关于J2工作许可申请的一些信息（含工作申请信模板）

J2申请工作许可需要的材料：

How do I apply? A complete application must include all of the following:

1.
A completed I-765 form. 一张完整的I-765表格，在J1所在学校或者单位地移民办公室官员那里可以拿到此表，他们会告诉你怎么填，很简单的

A bank check or money order for $380 一张380刀的支票（就是办理工作许可的费用）

3.
A photocopy of both sides of the J-1's I-94 card and J-2 dependent's I-94 card.J1和J2的I94表复印件

4.
A photocopy of the information page of the J-2's passport showing photo and expiration date.J2的护照复印件（照片和有效期的那页）

5.
Photocopies of ALL DS-2019 or IAP-66 documents issued to the J-1 exchange visitor and J-2 dependent.J1和J2的DS-2019表或者IAP-66

6.
Two recent photos of yourself.

A brief letter addressed 一封工作申请信

If re-applying for authorization, include a photocopy of any previous EAD card.如果是重新申请工作许可，还需要之前EAD卡的复印件

工作许可办理的时间需要好几周；不过拿到工作许可后，J2就可以找工作啦；目前我听到几种说法，一种是拿到工作许可后，J2就可以去申请SSN号；另外一种说法是拿到工作许可，必须要得到offer，也就是必须要找到了工作才能申请SSN；这个，有待亲自考证。

另外，关于J2的驾照---新来的J2肯定没有SSN号，所以带上护照，I94，2019到所在地SSN中心去，让他们办理一个类似于身份合法的证明吧，然后就可以去考驾照啦～（伊利诺伊州是这样规定的，不知道其它州是不是）

J2如要办理自己的银行卡，同样的，让J1所在学校或者单位移民办公室官员出示一张证明，就可以去开户了。
