shanghai H1-B visa required documents
I read this in the US consulate in Shanghai website about the required documents needed for H1-B visa interview:
" An approved original I-797 and a **certified copy** of your I-129"
I do have the approved original I-797, but not sure about the CERTIFIED copy of I-129 - I do have the pdf e-versions of I-129 application and supplemental forms my attorney sent to me - is it enough I simply print it out? What else I will have to do to make it certified? (I thought the fact that I have I-797 approval notice, that means my I-129 is certified by USCIS, is this not true?)

Form I-179 is required for original document, and the Form I-129 is required for the photocopy documents, which might acquired from your American attorney.

I have form I-129 and supplemental docs from my attorney, so guess I just need to print it out and bring with me? Nothing else? I am little confused by the wording CERTIFIED when i read it.

certified means it has the print and signature of the lawyer to prove this is a real copy of the original document. actually it doesn't matter very much since the VO won't check it in most cases...

I don't think that will cause you any problem. Last year when I was having the interview, VO did not ask me to show him I-129 and I just brought the copy one. The most important one is original 797.
