GuangZhou H1B Visa Application

I plan to apply for H1B visa in Guang zhou. Could you help me out with the following questions?

1. Can you get the visa on the same day when you have a visa appointment? Or you have to wait for the second day? Is there any UPS service available? In other words, can they mail your passport with visa approval to your home address? So you do wait in Guang Zhou.

2. Do you need dress formal (suit?) for the H1B visa appointment?

3. Should I use my US home address or my parents' home address in China to fill the item 15 " Home address" on the Form DS-156?

Your help would be highly appreciated.

1. you can not get your passport at the same day. your visa and yr passport will be sent to your address in china, whereever you want them send to. The fastest procedure is monday to thursday, which means if you get yr visa on Mon, then the earliest day that you will receive yr passport is Thurs. No need to stay in gz if yr home is not there. China post has already made a contract with usa consulate to do the bussiness.

2.no dress code, but it won't hurt.

3.use yr parents's address in china.

to me, dressing up for a visa interview is kind of overkill
