我以前是F1，今年在美国转成了H1B。准备圣诞期间回国，在mitbbs上看见说去签证之前要进行PIMS的verification，要不然有可能被check。请问：如何进行这个验证呢？在美国驻京的使馆上没有找到他们的email或者电话。多谢！

这个我还真没听过. 我有些朋友今年回去过, 都没有提前PIMS Verification 也没有check.

请问PIMS verification要多久？我去上海签了，签证官说我的信息不在PIMS里，要加进去，结果现在都没有收到护照。

On my 156, I saw it says I am not in PIMS. What does PIMS mean?

update: 6月30号签的，not in PIMS，7月13号拿到签证。据我知道的几个朋友的信息，这个verification从5天到1个半月都有可能。

什么原因造成PIMS里没有自己信息的呢？
需要提前fax给大使馆自己的i-797让他们verfiy么？

天哪，怎么会有这个东西,和楼上相同，我也是今年从F1转到了H1B,圣诞节的时候要回国,我在其他的网上看，有说2008年以后就不会有这种遗漏信息的情况，到底是怎么回事呢，
